Xero Expert Consultant (CPA)

About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Able to meet with the Accounting Associate weekly to realign and make sure the team is in compliance with any government requirements

  • Train the Accounting Associate in all bookkeeping, filing, and any financial reporting needed

  • Help the team build a solid accounting and payroll structure for efficient processes

  • Help analyze, and report financial data

  • Make sure to maintain accurate financial records

  • Help perform audits and resolve discrepancies.

  • Compute taxes and process filing

  • Keeping informed about current mandates relating to finance and accounting

  • Help assist management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.


Qualifications

  • Certified Public Accountant

  • Xero Expert

  • More education or experience about company accounting and payroll structures may be preferred

  • Special licenses or certification for Xero

  • Has setup multiple Xero accounts

  • Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills

  • Able to train an associate

  • Approachable, easy to work with and easy to reach online

  • Ethical behavior

  • Attention to detail
